According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in March 2019 Russia has imported 20.4 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 3 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 61.0 thousand tons (in 2018 - 67.8 thousand MT; in 2017 - 61.9 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2019, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (39.36%) and PAKISTAN (26.68%).
In March 2019 Russia has exported 18.2 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 3 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 68.4 thousand tons (in 2018 - 25.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 48.9 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2019, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (44.38%) and KAZAKHSTAN (12.16%).
