According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in October 2019 Russia has imported 27.7 thousand tons of barley (HS code 1003). According to the results of 10 months of barley import campaign, Russia has shipped in 29.8 thousand tons (in 2018 - 12.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 163.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2019, the main countries exporters of barley to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (96.66%) and DENMARK (1.34%).
In October 2019 Russia has exported 271.6 thousand tons of barley. According to the results of 10 months of barley export campaign, Russia has shipped out 3205.2 thousand tons (in 2018 - 4453.6 thousand MT; in 2017 - 3633.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2019, the main countries importers of barley from Russia were SAUDI ARABIA (33.08%) and IRAN (25.01%).
