According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-May 2020, conducted by Zerno.Ru:
- import of wheat and meslin (HS code 1001) has made 166 MT (44.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 5311320 MT (114.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For May 2020 import of wheat and meslin has made 82 MT, export - 1195675 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Germany (86.8%), Czech Republic (8.6%), Romania (2.0%), Other countries (2.7%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Egypt (28.8%), Bangladesh (11.1%), Indonesia (8.4%), Other countries (51.7%).
- Import of corn (HS code 1005) has made 19011 MT (78.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 16992970 MT (93.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For May 2020 import of corn has made 186 MT, export - 2374627 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: France (36.3%), Hungary (24.3%), Romania (12.0%), Other countries (27.4%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: China (17.9%), Egypt (11.5%), Spain (10.8%), Other countries (59.8%).
- Import of wheat flour and rye flour (HS code 1101) has made 757 MT (77.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 125279 MT (85.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For May 2020 import of wheat flour and rye flour has made 109 MT, export - 19706 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Italy (68.5%), Finland (10.4%), Other countries (17.1%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: United Arab Emirates (19.5%), Singapore (17.1%), Other countries (51.4%).
