According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-August 2020, conducted by Zerno.Ru:
- import of wheat and meslin (HS code 1001) has made 254 MT (33.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 10508390 MT (106.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For August 2020 import of wheat and meslin has made 69 MT, export - 3701370 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Germany (67.9%), Czech Republic (25.8%), France (1.9%), Other countries (4.5%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Egypt (20.0%), Indonesia (11.8%), Bangladesh (10.7%), Other countries (57.5%).
- Import of corn (HS code 1005) has made 19411 MT (75.0% compared to the same period in 2019), export - 19143100 MT (85.0% compared to the same period in 2019). For August 2020 import of corn has made 245 MT, export - 178791 MT. . The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: France (36.5%), Hungary (24.0%), Romania (12.1%), Other countries (27.4%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: China (22.4%), Netherlands (10.7%), Egypt (10.3%), Other countries (56.5%).
