Export and import of rice in January - December 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in December 2020 Russia has imported 26.3 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 12 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 211.7 thousand tons (in 2019 - 236.7 thousand MT; in 2018 - 213.5 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2020, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (58.31%) and KAZAKHSTAN (16.12%).

In December 2020 Russia has exported 23.1 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 12 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 141.1 thousand tons (in 2019 - 170.2 thousand MT; in 2018 - 140.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2020, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (50.28%) and BELGIUM (9.08%).
