According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in February 2021 Russia has imported 13.3 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 2 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 28.4 thousand tons (in 2020 - 34.1 thousand MT; in 2019 - 40.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - February 2021, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (70.83%) and KAZAKHSTAN (12.93%).
In February 2021 Russia has exported 14.6 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 2 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 38.3 thousand tons (in 2020 - 22.7 thousand MT; in 2019 - 50.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - February 2021, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (68.39%) and BELGIUM (9.57%).
