Zerno.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, that as of May 10, 2021 all spring crops sown at 1793.3 thousand hectares or 72.1% of the plan of 2486.2 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 2279.3 thousand hectares, 89.0%). Corn sown at 606.4 thousand hectares or 52.0% of the plan of 1167.1 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 990.2 thousand hectares, 87.5%). Corn for grain sown at 255.8 thousand hectares or 94.4% of the plan of 270.9 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 290.0 thousand hectares, 104.4%). Maize for silage sown at 350.6 thousand hectares or 39.1% of the plan of 896.2 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 700.2 thousand hectares, 82.0%).
