According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in August 2021 Russia has imported 3.4 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 8 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 102.3 thousand tons (in 2020 - 76.9 thousand MT; in 2019 - 122.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2021, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (97.60%) and BELARUS (1.37%).
In August 2021 Russia has exported 5216.5 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 8 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 19121.4 thousand tons (in 2020 - 18534.6 thousand MT; in 2019 - 18493.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2021, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (21.78%) and EGYPT (17.29%).
