According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in December 2021 Russia has imported 4.8 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 12 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 123.2 thousand tons (in 2020 - 186.4 thousand MT; in 2019 - 183.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2021, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (97.27%) and BELARUS (1.17%).
In December 2021 Russia has exported 2951.4 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 12 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 32661.5 thousand tons (in 2020 - 37077.9 thousand MT; in 2019 - 31815.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2021, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (20.54%) and EGYPT (17.27%).
