Export and import of wheat in January - November 2018 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in November 2018 Russia has imported 51.1 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 11 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 277.2 thousand tons (in 2017 - 246.3 thousand MT; in 2016 - 564.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2018, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (69.53%) and UKRAINE (30.14%).

In November 2018 Russia has exported 3372.6 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 11 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 39558.8 thousand tons (in 2017 - 28762.6 thousand MT; in 2016 - 22853.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2018, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were EGYPT (20.40%) and TURKEY (11.51%).
