Export and import of corn in January - December 2018 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in December 2018 Russia has imported 5.9 thousand tons of corn (HS code 1005). According to the results of 12 months of corn import campaign, Russia has shipped in 43.9 thousand tons (in 2017 - 52.3 thousand MT; in 2016 - 41.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2018, the main countries exporters of corn to Russia were HUNGARY (32.60%) and FRANCE (22.47%).

In December 2018 Russia has exported 337.9 thousand tons of corn. According to the results of 12 months of corn export campaign, Russia has shipped out 4785.8 thousand tons (in 2017 - 5178.3 thousand MT; in 2016 - 5332.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - December 2018, the main countries importers of corn from Russia were IRAN (29.31%) and TURKEY (26.18%).
