Export and import of wheat in January - March 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in March 2019 Russia has imported 20.7 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 3 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 54.8 thousand tons (in 2018 - 88.0 thousand MT; in 2017 - 56.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2019, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (98.78%) and CZECH REPUBLIC (0.68%).

In March 2019 Russia has exported 1933.0 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 3 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 6604.7 thousand tons (in 2018 - 9699.4 thousand MT; in 2017 - 6147.5 thousand MT).
In the period January - March 2019, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (22.28%) and EGYPT (21.21%).
