According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in May 2020 Russia has imported 10.2 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 5 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 50.5 thousand tons (in 2019 - 87.3 thousand MT; in 2018 - 129.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2020, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (98.48%) and CZECH REPUBLIC (0.66%).
In May 2020 Russia has exported 514.2 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 5 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 10937.7 thousand tons (in 2019 - 9538.4 thousand MT; in 2018 - 16538.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2020, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (27.56%) and EGYPT (19.70%).
