According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in August 2020 Russia has imported 10.2 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 8 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 77.4 thousand tons (in 2019 - 122.2 thousand MT; in 2018 - 188.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2020, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (98.54%) and CZECH REPUBLIC (0.43%).
In August 2020 Russia has exported 4649.1 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 8 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 19426.4 thousand tons (in 2019 - 18493.0 thousand MT; in 2018 - 27204.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - August 2020, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (23.27%) and EGYPT (17.44%).
