According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in April 2019 Russia has imported 17.8 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 4 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 72.6 thousand tons (in 2018 - 97.0 thousand MT; in 2017 - 76.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - April 2019, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (98.97%) and CZECH REPUBLIC (0.53%).
In April 2019 Russia has exported 1916.5 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 4 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 8521.2 thousand tons (in 2018 - 12569.1 thousand MT; in 2017 - 8148.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - April 2019, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (21.72%) and EGYPT (21.39%).
