According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in May 2019 Russia has imported 14.5 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 5 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 87.1 thousand tons (in 2018 - 129.7 thousand MT; in 2017 - 102.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2019, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (99.10%) and CZECH REPUBLIC (0.44%).
In May 2019 Russia has exported 1001.4 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 5 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 9527.7 thousand tons (in 2018 - 16538.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 10069.4 thousand MT).
In the period January - May 2019, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were EGYPT (22.16%) and TURKEY (21.84%).
