Export and import of wheat in January - July 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in July 2019 Russia has imported 15.9 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 7 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 114.7 thousand tons (in 2018 - 186.0 thousand MT; in 2017 - 155.1 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2019, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (99.28%) and CZECH REPUBLIC (0.33%).

In July 2019 Russia has exported 2975.1 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 7 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 13588.8 thousand tons (in 2018 - 22516.8 thousand MT; in 2017 - 12802.4 thousand MT).
In the period January - July 2019, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (24.17%) and EGYPT (19.54%).
