Export and import of wheat in January - October 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in October 2019 Russia has imported 11.7 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 10 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 140.5 thousand tons (in 2018 - 225.3 thousand MT; in 2017 - 212.6 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2019, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (98.75%) and POLAND (0.48%).

In October 2019 Russia has exported 3754.4 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 10 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 26403.2 thousand tons (in 2018 - 36185.2 thousand MT; in 2017 - 24506.7 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2019, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (23.06%) and EGYPT (17.41%).
