Export and import of rice in January - September 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in September 2020 Russia has imported 14.2 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 9 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 149.4 thousand tons (in 2019 - 161.7 thousand MT; in 2018 - 156.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - September 2020, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (51.79%) and KAZAKHSTAN (17.96%).

In September 2020 Russia has exported 4.0 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 9 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 56.7 thousand tons (in 2019 - 115.0 thousand MT; in 2018 - 83.1 thousand MT).
In the period January - September 2020, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (19.89%) and BELGIUM (17.69%).
