Export and import of rice in January - November 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in November 2020 Russia has imported 16.3 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 11 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 185.4 thousand tons (in 2019 - 211.0 thousand MT; in 2018 - 192.2 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2020, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (55.43%) and KAZAKHSTAN (17.11%).

In November 2020 Russia has exported 25.2 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 11 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 118.0 thousand tons (in 2019 - 146.8 thousand MT; in 2018 - 112.1 thousand MT).
In the period January - November 2020, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (49.01%) and BELGIUM (9.56%).
