Zerno.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, that as of May 05, 2021 all spring crops sown at 1538.6 thousand hectares or 61.6% of the plan of 2497.5 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 2056.9 thousand hectares, 80.3%). Corn sown at 386.0 thousand hectares or 33.1% of the plan of 1167.2 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 790.3 thousand hectares, 69.8%). Corn for grain sown at 202.5 thousand hectares or 73.6% of the plan of 275.0 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 283.1 thousand hectares, 101.9%). Maize for silage sown at 183.5 thousand hectares or 20.6% of the plan of 892.2 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 507.2 thousand hectares, 59.4%).
