Zerno.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, that as of May 26, 2021 all spring crops sown at 2358.6 thousand hectares or 96.3% of the plan of 2450.1 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 2565.9 thousand hectares, 100.6%). Corn sown at 1054.6 thousand hectares or 93.2% of the plan of 1131.1 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 1201.5 thousand hectares, 105.7%). Maize for silage sown at 781.9 thousand hectares or 90.7% of the plan of 861.8 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 905.7 thousand hectares, 104.3%). Buckwheat sown at 26.8 thousand hectares or 88.5% of the plan of 30.3 thousand hectares (last year on the same date - 23.2 thousand hectares, 101.8%).
