According to the analysis of data by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine for January-June 2021, conducted by Zerno.Ru:
- import of wheat and meslin (HS code 1001) has made 15164 MT (9135.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 4147593 MT (74.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For June 2021 import of wheat and meslin has made 0 MT, export - 662279 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: Belarus (97.8%), Germany (1.1%), Czech Republic (0.8%), Other countries (0.3%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: Egypt (23.3%), Indonesia (9.6%), Yemen (8.5%), Other countries (58.6%).
- Import of corn (HS code 1005) has made 14403 MT (76.0% compared to the same period in 2020), export - 13669720 MT (74.0% compared to the same period in 2020). For June 2021 import of corn has made 177 MT, export - 1703528 MT. The largest exporters to Ukraine in monetary terms were: France (51.8%), Hungary (19.3%), Austria (10.2%), Other countries (18.6%). The largest importers from Ukraine in monetary terms were: China (35.6%), Netherlands (10.0%), Egypt (9.6%), Other countries (44.8%).
