Export and import of rice in January - October 2021 2021 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in October 2021 Russia has imported 18.3 thousand tons of rice (HS code 1006). According to the results of 10 months of rice import campaign, Russia has shipped in 146.6 thousand tons (in 2020 - 169.1 thousand MT; in 2019 - 186.5 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2021, the main countries exporters of rice to Russia were INDIA (75.28%) and KAZAKHSTAN (14.43%).

In October 2021 Russia has exported 8.3 thousand tons of rice. According to the results of 10 months of rice export campaign, Russia has shipped out 109.1 thousand tons (in 2020 - 92.8 thousand MT; in 2019 - 124.9 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2021, the main countries importers of rice from Russia were TURKEY (39.92%) and BELARUS (8.80%).
