Export and import of wheat in January (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Zerno.ru, in January 2019 Russia has imported 16.2 thousand tons of wheat (HS code 1001). According to the results of 1 months of wheat import campaign, Russia has shipped in 16.2 thousand tons (in 2018 - 12.1 thousand MT; in 2017 - 15.1 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries exporters of wheat to Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (99.88%) and LITHUANIA (0.12%).

In January 2019 Russia has exported 2417.3 thousand tons of wheat. According to the results of 1 months of wheat export campaign, Russia has shipped out 2417.3 thousand tons (in 2018 - 2477.9 thousand MT; in 2017 - 1941.4 thousand MT).
In the period January, the main countries importers of wheat from Russia were TURKEY (17.55%) and EGYPT (13.01%).
