As of June 17, 2021, total area of 15 571.1 thousand ha or 100.1% of the plan (15 551.5 thousand ha) was sown with spring grain, legumes and industrial crops, Zerno.Ru was informed by the Information and Analytical Service of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Ukraine. Sowing of grain maize, sunflower, wheat, peas, oat, sugar beet is completed. The crops sown (% of forecast):
- buckwheat - 77.7 thousand ha (97.6%)
- soy - 1388.8 thousand ha (98.9%)
- barley - 1347.3 thousand ha (97%)
- millet - 105.1 thousand ha (90%)
